Utilizing analytics to measure the success of your Facebook business page is incredibly important. You can use tools such as Facebook Insights to monitor how many people are looking at your page, reading your posts, interacting with your brand and viewing your visual media. You can also discern which posts are getting the most interaction, which allows you to make changes accordingly. By using an analytics tool to monitor exactly what is working on your Facebook page, (and what isn’t), you can set realistic goals for your social networking efforts.

The one thing that you have never been able to pinpoint, however, is exactly who is interacting with your page on a regular basis. This is a key piece of the puzzle to getting the success you want to obtain using social media. If you have an idea of who is interacting with your page the most, you can figure out many things, including:

•    Who your target demographic is.
•    Who your potential leads are.
•    Which fans you should be focusing on.

As important as it is to raise your fan count and get as much interaction as possible, it’s also important to get a handle on who is already interacting with your page so you can focus your efforts on building a relationship with them. That’s where Booshaka comes in.

Despite the silly name, Booshaka is an awesome analytics tool that you can install on your Facebook business page for free. This free service is a user-friendly leader board that allows you to both recognize and engage your top fans. It’s also a great way to get more people to participate on your page. Getting public recognition as a “top fan” is a strong incentive. There is both a free version and a paid version, but with the free version you can install an application on your business page that shows your top fans, monitor who exactly is engaging with your brand and monitor your page’s recent activity. It’s also a way to measure interaction, as some weeks you may have more “top fans” than others. It’s a great tool to utilize to figure out who is interacting with you most, and how often. Here are some ways that you can use this awesome tool in your social media efforts:

Focus on building interactions with top fans. If you know who is interacting with your page the most, then you’ll also have an idea of who is most interested in the services you provide. Use Booshaka to find out who is most interested in pursuing a relationship with your business and use that information! Message your top fans on Facebook and thank them for interacting. Offer them a gift card as a thank you. When you can place a face with the stats, it allows you to build a personal relationship on what you already know.

Turn it into a competition. Mention Booshaka to your fan base! Thank the top fans publicly and offer a gift to the person who is the “top fan” by a certain date. The prize will be a great incentive to both boosting interaction on your page. The best part is that people can see where they stand by clicking on the Top Fans tab installed on your Facebook business page. It will create a fun game that will keep your fans entertained. From there, you can start building the relationships that are so important to social media.

Keep track of stats quickly. While Facebook Insights provides a more in-depth look at your overall stats, Booshaka is a great resource to use if you want to take a quick glance at how well your page is performing. At one glance, you can find out where your page ranks in your category, how many active users your page has, how many “Booshaka” points, or top fan points, you have total and the number of wall posts, comments and likes you have. While these don’t provide the in-depth statistics of Facebook Insights, they do give a great overview of what sort of interaction your page is getting, which can help you set goals.

Not only is Booshaka free, but it’s also easy to install. Get a jump start on interacting with your most loyal Facebook fans by using this awesome service. It can provide you with invaluable resources for boosting your social media interaction, and it’s great for keeping track of your page’s success. We highly recommend it!

If you have any questions about how to use Booshaka, or need help getting your social media presence up and running, don’t hesitate to contact us! As your real estate virtual assistants, we’d love to help you out in any way we can.

Have a great day!
