Invest in STAGING

Home Stager with WMSTAGING

Frequently, a welcome environment for prospective buyers/renters can be accomplished with simple steps such as: rearranging, cleaning, de-cluttering and/or neutralizing décor, by simply using items currently in the property.

Statistics show a instead of a reduction on the price of the property , investing in staging both accelerate the sale (aprx. 50% less time on the market), and avoid further reductions on the property.( Actually aprox. 6.9% increase in sale value.)*

A good first impression can accelerate the decision making of a perspective client. Buyers and/or renters can not usually visualize the potential of a property. Size and scale of furniture and a possible variety of arrangements or colors gives potential clients a frame of reference. Staging consultation fees, are usually gladly paid by the property owner.

Have you taken a staging class or are you only hiring outside companies?

Staging does make a huge difference when showing a home!  It's amazing how before and after pictures can look.

I would use staging more, I just have a hard time getting the sellers to commit.

At a time when homes really have to be the "Best Of Breed" just to get close to selling, staging can make the difference between another home checked off the list and on that sticks in peoples minds.

Thanks for your comments!!

I will try to respond on your comments and anwer your question.

I am an engineer who has worked in the construction most of my lfe. Working with Architechs , Interior Desiners, Architectural landscapers etc. has tought me a lot .

In addition I took the Accredited Staging Professional Course and I am a member of the International Assotiation of Staging Proffesionals.

Having the client commited is not that hard if you are able to show the client Before and Staged (after) pictures. Usually what holds back the client is the extra expense of having a home staged. If you look at it as an investment your client will too. As I mentioned staged homes sell faster and in the current market conditions you have to be able to sell a property where prospective buyers can visualize it as their home.

A lot of times just cvleaning and decluttering will do the job!

What we do as Professionals Stagers always adapts to the clients budget. An initial consultation may start from $250 depending on the location and size of the property and will include a Professional Report detailing what is suggested to be done area by area. A hands on recommendations list is included in the report. If the client wishes to do them on his own along with an estimate of the work to be performed is also included.

Depending on the case and time frame, if we are hired to do the job, we, WMS as an Integrated Services Company can perform the work and/or hire additional specialized outside help.

Feel free to contact me or acces the the link of our web site (under constrution) for pictures and any other questions.
