TOWN OF BROOKHAVEN HAS A NEW JOBS WEBSITE

Job-haven.org (http://www.jobhaven.org/) was unveiled recently in Suffolk County's largest town to post Long Island employment opportunities and to help town residents find out about those available jobs in one easy-to-access site.

coffeecup picture 11/10/11 The healthcare, technology, education and finance industries will all be represented here.

Residents looking for work will be able to come to this website and, hopefully, find something close to home.

With unemployment levels so high, the additional resource to secure a position or make a career move is welcomed.

I know what you mean, Eric. It's gotten out of hand. What about that gut feeling that you get from talking to someone in person that tells you s/he would be perfect for the job? Even without the perfect resume or years of experience, when you speak to someone face to face, sometimes, you just know they possess the confidence, personality, tenacity, and hunger to get the job done.
