As we enter into November, I want to take a moment to reflect on what this time of year means to me.
It's a time of Thanksgiving.
A time to look back upon the year and remember all that I have to be thankful for.
This year, I have met wonderful people who have become a part of my life either professionally or personally. I appreciate each of these "gifts". Each and every individual does so much to enrich me. Everyone has an impact and makes a lasting impression. So thankful for the many viewpoints and flavors of each individual. You challenge me and help me to continue to develop and strengthen my convictions.
I'm thankful for this season of delicious foods and scents. Oh, how I love the season of Fall! With it comes crisp, cool mornings, the smell of spices and pumpkins. Leaves swirling and calling me outside to play. A call to the mountains to persue wild game and reflection and respect for their majesty.
I'm thankful for school days and learning. Time to watch my children make great educational and developmental strides. I love watching the joy when they learn a new concept or relish the satisfaction of accomplishment. Precious growth and achievement.
I'm ever thankful for my family. Support, cohesiveness, love, respect, teamwork, fun. Lasting memories. Excitement for tomorrow.
Joy that we still reside in a free country and can continue to speak and pray in freedom and peace.
