Everyone's favorite new snarky sidekick Siri has a dirty little secret that she's been hiding from you.

Time's Techland.com is reporting that the new virtual assistant may unknowingly cause users to go over their monthly data limit.

That's right: Siri is reportedly a data-guzzler.

According to a report from Arstechnica.com , every question Siri is asked -- even the little ones that only involve asking it to set you a reminder -- must be sent to Apple's data center for processing.

Calculations done by Ars Technica's Jacqui Cheng suggest if you use Siri 2-3 times per day, you could hit about 5.5mb of usage per month. If you use Siri 10-15 times a day, you might end up being smacked with as much as 27.7mb of data usage.

If you don't have the unlimited data plan, this could cause some serious cell phone bills! What are your thoughts?

David: I'm about to pick one up, thank you for the information. I'll be sure to get the unlimited data plan. I can always cut it back later if I don't need it.
