Barbara, these are the elections that the public tend to ignore and yet are also so very important for them to vote in! I hope you have a good turn out.

Barbara I am the Head Moderator in Middletown, Tuesday will be a long day.  It is a shame that we generally only see about 50%-60% turnout for a Municipal Election.

George -- Yes, I agree. People just don't place a lot of importance on the locals. That's sad. I hope the weather continues to be good because that definitely keeps the voters away.

Silvia -- I don't understand why people 'elect' NOT to vote.  Then they complain.....

Peter & Linda -- I have to tell you, I read your response late last night on my phone and I laughed right out loud!  You are so funny.  Thanks for the laugh!

Dagny -- Yes, why is that? I just don't understand why people don't vote. In all my voting years I can think of only one election I missed. I had to be out of the area unexpectedly that day, and I didn't make it back in time.  Every one who is qualified should be registered, and every registered voter should be at the polls.

A very important day - too many times people don't get out to vote and the same people get voted in over and over.
