Lunging in South Lake Union

That's right, people! We over here at ActiveRain HQ in South Lake Union have our very own lunger - a lunging vigilante! Peter, the handsome lunging gentleman in the picture to the left, makes his way East past our wall of windows every weekday morning (maybe weekends, too, but we aren't here to see!) at 8:45am and then back the way he came at about 4:45pm. Why Lunge, you ask? Why not?! The reasoning, so says Peter, is to get the blood moving around his heart.
He works for Amazon on the Kindle, and has been there for about one year.
He is married, and he has two children - and one more on the way! He's hoping for a Nathaniel, but it might be an Angela. His wife loves Whoppers right now!
As I'm sure you can tell, we've had a lot of conversation and a lot of questions directed towards this lunging man. He's very patient with us as we open our windows, standing on our toes to shout out our question. Each time he removes his iPod headphones and answers - but he never stops lunging!
We did miss this lunging ghoul on Halloween, but he assured us that it wasn't that he didn't like us anymore - he simply had some family activities which prevented him from lunging. We definitely understand!! Family is important, second only to lunging.
Anyhow, he's a good sport and provides a lot of chatter and positive attitude in the office. A simple little thing like lunging isn't so simple when it can lift the whole mood of the office! We even created a Facebook fan page for him..
He's sort of a big deal here in South Lake Union!
