Right after we spend a month filled with scariness and spookiness we move right into the Holiday Season.Coralville Center for the Performing Arts Funny how that happens, don't you think? You only need to switch on your TV to see what I mean. Talk about what a difference a day makes, or in the case of local events, a week! Last week Rocky Horror, this week Pinocchio. That's what we call diametrically different directions...

This weekend we have quite a treat for the kids with the The Old Creamery Theatre Company coming to town to perform Pinocchio at The Coralville Center for the Performing Arts. That's happening on Saturday morning, (November 5) at 10.00am.

There's more going on in the evening of November 5 at The CCPA with an evening of contemporary dance. "In the Axis," is hosted by The Poetic Rebound Performance Company, Iowa City's professional modern dance company. The show starts at 7.00pm. Doors Open at 6.30pm with the local band Tallgrass playing.

You can buy tickets online OR Call 319-248-9370 OR you can stop by The CCPA at 1301 5th St, Coralville.

Denise,

I was in the Dollar Store this evening, looking for something.  Nothing but Christmas stuff!

Hi Mike,

I know what you mean. It amazes me just how seamless the transition is between Halloween and Christmas. They don't even stop for breath!
