Football In Gulf Shores Alabama

Did you know football favoritism is hereditary?  Wait...wait, let me explain.  As a child in Gulf Shores, I can remember my father yelling at the television on Saturdays for the University of Alabama football to pick up the play.  While they may have been too far away for this to resonate, I wasn't.  I have no ties to the University of Alabama and as a matter of fact, competed against them in college yet I find myself a raging Alabama football fan.  So I repeat; football is hereditary.

Last year I was staying at Turquoise Place condos in Orange Beach, AL and ran in to a group of players who were down with friends and family for the week.  I was really impressed with the way they carried themselves while in earshot.  I heard no profane, disparaging comments about anything or anyone.  Too many times in the company of young adults who are on vacation and having adult beverages, you see behavior which could be called inconsiderate. They were all very polite and courteous and seemed to actually listen when spoken to instead of just waiting for their turn to speak.  I guess what I'm saying is that while I have no ties to the University, I'm glad I'm an Alabama fan.  I know there are many schools who have similar athletes, but it was really nice to meet representatives from a University which you have praised for most of your life conduct themselves so reverently.

So 1st ranked LSU is set to tee it up against the Alabama Crimson Tide tonight at 8:00 and I can't wait.  Win or lose, I know there will be a tomorrow and it's going to be just as nice to be an Alabama fan.

Thanks for taking a few minuted to read what I had to say and as always, if you need any information concerning Gulf Shores real estate, please feel free to call Aaron Pugh at 251-978-3718 anytime.
