Time to change the clocks!

Don't forget to turn your clocks back an hour before going to bed tonight.  Most of the U.S. will return to Standard Time on Sunday November 6, 2011 at 2:00 a.m.

At first, it's difficult to adjust to those time changes!  At least for this time change, we will be EARLY instead of LATE and      Sunday's sundown will be early too!

 

Now is a good time to change the batteries in your Smoke Alarms and Carbon Monoxide CO Detectors. 

Stay safe and enjoy that extra hour of sleep tonight!

I always like the extra hour in the Fall Mary. Great reminder for EVERYONE, yet it still is hard adjusting the next couple of days. I am not a big fan of the darker nights coming sooner with the clock either...

Hi Gordon, if you change them now, and go to bed at your regular hour- for instance 10:30 it's really like 11:30 right- but it's not 11:30 because the news will still be on and what time are you supposed to eat dinner???....now that's confusing!  Thanks for stopping in today - good luck with that!

Gary, I think it is hard to adjust.  Fall seems to be a bit easier when gaining an hour, rather than losing it in the Spring.  I'm with you, not a big fan when it gets dark so "early" either!  Thanks for your thoughts on it today Gary!

Your photos are gorgeous..usually we set our clocks back Saturday night before going to bed but we were out and when we came back we forgot! I like the extra hour of sleep but hate the dark so early in the evenings :(.

I hate leaving daylight savings. It's really hard. It's almost like going to Hawaii and it's not as hard as going to New York, but time changes leave me totally confused. Now, I'm starving at 11 AM. I am dead tired by 8 PM. I hate it. Grumble, grumble.
