Cute clock

Daylight Saving Time officially ends in Santa Rosa, California early Sunday morning, Nov. 6th.   Remember that we will gain an extra hour of sleep tonight as we ‘fall back’.

It’s a great time to remind yourself to also check the batteries in your smoke alarm/detectors around the house.  It could save your life!   So take a couple of extra minutes while resetting all the clocks and just double check those batteries too.

Some inexpensive detectors also need to be replaced completely about every five years or so. Also make sure you dispose of the old batteries and alarms properly.  Call your local garbage or recycling center and find out how they want you to handle that.
