FREEBIES for Veterans in Observance of Veteran's Day
Great to hear there are some specials out there for our vets this Veteran's day! Although only #1 and #2 are local to me (I am really sad that Chili's is no longer in Issaquah!), I still thought it was worth passing this along. Thanks, Veterans!
A number of local and national restaurants, cafes and business offer FREEBIE to Veterans in observation of Veteran’s Day. Here is a list of a few located in the Greater Sacramento Region:
(1) OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE - For veterans hungry for a Bloomin’ Onion and Coke, Outback Steakhouse will be offering them FREE on November 7th through 11th 2011. The offer is for active duty military as well as veterans.
You'll need to bring in one ID such as a U.S. Uniform Services ID card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID card, current Leave and Earnings statement, DD form 214, a veterans organization card, a photograph of you in uniform, or you can wear your uniform to get your free Veterans Day meal.Click this link to find an Outback Steakhouse near you.
(2) APPLEBEE’S - At participating Applebee's FREE Veterans day meals are being offered on Friday, November 11th 2011. From a limited menu, veterans will be able to choose meals meals that includes steak, cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, salad, pasta, chicken, and shrimp. You can see the complete menu by using the link above. This deal is dine-in only and beverages and gratuity are not included.
Proof of military service such as a U.S. Uniform Service ID card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID card, current Leave and Earnings statement, photograph in uniform, be wearing your uniform, a veterans organization card such as American Legion or VFW, or a DD214 will be required.
Find an Applebee's near you and call ahead to find out if they are participating in the Veteran's Day free meal.
(3) CHILI’S - On Friday, November 11th 2011, Veterans will be able to get a FREE meal at Chili's. This offer applies whether you are a veteran or are active duty military.

(4) GOLDEN CORRAL - Golden Corral is observing Military “Thank You” Day, by serving FREE meals to any person who has ever served in the U.S. military on Monday, November 14th 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Click the Golden Corral weblink to be provided locations and more details.
There are a number of other restaurants, cafes, and business establishments offering FREEBIES for VETERANS. In addition to those listed above, they include, Hooters – McCormick and Schmicks – 7 Eleven – Texas Roadhouse.
