With the many life challenges I am facing these days I determined that I need to start meditating on a regular basis once again.
My commitment began on Monday, October 31, 2011. Since then, I meditated one hour every day. I’m so proud of myself for not allowing anything to take priority over my time to meditate.
Yesterday during a guided meditation, wearing headphones, about 10 minutes into it a loud screeching sound began to emanate from my Dell Inspiron laptop, which is only 10 months old new.
Needless to say, the sound scared the holy begesus out of me. I could not get the sound to stop. My only option was to force a shut down.
I could not get my PC to restart successfully. Each time I tried I was welcomed by the horrific screeching sound.
I called Dell tech support. Long story short apparently the operating system was corrupt. Solution: Re-install the operating system.
Ten hours later, I am mostly up and running, except for Outlook.
Meditating really helps with handling these unplanned events that take up so much time and cause a negative impact (thankfully temporarily) on business.
I missed my meditation yesterday. Even the PC "crash" won't stop me from continuing to meditate every day.
After working on the PC for 10 hours ... it is definitely time to unplug from the PC and meditate. I'll be back at the PC working on restoring Outlook at 8:00am.
I am definitely visualizing full restoration.
