Bruce, thank you for your comment on my post about social networking today. Reading this post I could not help but wonder when FEMA will begin to use more of the communicative new technologies...a tweet goes viral faster than a nationwide TV/radio broadcast in only two languages.

Bruce better late than never in my response to you.  Good job on passing along the Emergency Broadcast Testing.  I was at work with buyers that day and missed all the doings.  Wrote a contract without incident and all was well with the world.  Best regards to you and hope you enjoy an awesome day my friend.

Bruce - a very interesting and informative post. I guess it would be good to put it in my Google calendar since I will never remember otherwise :)

I, for one, climbed under the closest school desk I could find and covered my head with my arms just like we were taught during the "red scare" of the 50-60's.  This is the part of our government that is set up to help us in emergencies.

Gee, I knew nothing about this. Weird. But, then I too am on the West Coast where nothing happened. ( I used to have to do these little area alerts during my radio days...always drove me crazy. ) Ha ha.

Yes Bruce you definitely would want to know its just a test. Pretty scary otherwise.

Hi Bruce -- being prepared is important so tests such as these are quite valuable.
