Pasadena Community College District(covers multiple cities) - three college board seats

Duarte - two city council seats, three school board seats

Temple City - three school board seats

Garvey - two school board seats

Monrovia - three school board seats

San Gabriel - one school board seat

Rosemead - two school board seats

Polls are open today from now(7AM until 8PM).   Need assistance you can check lavote.net or call 1-800-815-2666 and select 1.

Bravo!

If you don't vote you don't get to exercise one of the greatest liberties and have your voice heard...

Paul -- it's unfortunate that at the local level, there is often a low turnout.  These elections can have a lot of impact on our daily lives.

Doug - indeed!

Michael,  Very good reminder.  I signed up for mail-in ballot years ago.  I love it.  I can research the issues on my computer and make an intelligent (at least I think so) decision in the comfort of my own home and zip it off in the mail.  Love it.

Hi, Michael.....

We have a referendum today to vote on....as you know for our school district as do about 100 others.

Great localism post.

Hi, Michael, I don't think we had any voting here today.   But, there are a lot of referendums for property tax increases around Minnesota as Suzanne mentioned.

Belinda - I still like going to the polls and voting in person while I certainly understand how people prefer the absentee/mail-in ballot.  Either way, intelligent voting is always appreciated.

Suzanne - Lots of issues on ballots across the country today.   Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Don -- I think the turnout for the elections here will be low in turnout unfortunately.  Local issues can certainly have a large impact on our daily lives and certainly can have an effect on our livelihood in the real estate industry as well.

Michael, we had a huge turnout for our school referendum.  And, the vote was for the new levy by 6%!

Nearly every school referendum passed in the state!

Suzanne - a good turnout of knowledgeable voters is definitely a good thing.
