My market area is Minnesota's Douglas County which is in west central Minnesota (I live in Alexandria which is 2 hours Northwest of the Twin Cities). For 2006, the average sale price for Seasonal and Residential homes was $201,098. It would be interesting to hear from others about your market averages if you have time. Craig, My market area is Springfield Missouri and surrounding areas. I live in Christian County. Christian County covers approximately 564 square miles in Southwest Missouri and is bordered by Greene, Lawrence, Stone, Taney, Douglas and Webster Counties. Though Christian County is one of the fastest growing counties in the State of Missouri and is considered part of the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area (Greene, Christian, Dallas, Polk and Webster Counties), the southern part of the County is predominantly rural in character. The average sales price for Residential homes for the 3rd quarter of 2006 was $144,476.
