A popular destination for high school graduates looking to get into the engineering fields, The Colorado School of Mines was founded in Golden as a public research university devoted to engineering and applied science. For over one hundred thirty years, students have been moving to this town not only to take classes but because Golden is a great community! The School of Mines provides a few different student housing options on and off campus. The Residence Halls at Mines Park is set up for freshmen residents and is designated as freshmen living. The Apartments at Mines Park have been primarily set-up for upperclassman living, and was built to provide convenient, affordable housing for the expanding Mines community. The complex was built in three phases and features apartments for single students and families. One, two, and three bedroom units are available for single students, while families have access to one and two bedroom units. CSM pays for water, sewer, public area lighting, trash removal, snow removal, expanded basic cable television and wired or wireless connection to the Mines network.For more information about  student housing or the Apartments at Mines Park click here!
