The Bend Bridge or Highway N one lane bridge will be closed next week on November 15th and 16th, 2011 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. just outside of Pacific, Missouri city limits.

we have a couple of streets named "steel bridge" north and south that used to have a similar old steal covered bridge.  They replaced it in the late 80s.  I still miss that single lane bridge.  Wish I had some photos.

This one has a sharp curve as well as an unforgiving rock face on the same side...  It needs to be replaced but I doubt it will be.
