Three Hours. Many people have contemplated Three Hours.
- Three hours of extra sleep could be useful.
- Three hours of extra time with your family would be great!
- There is the Three Hours of Agony described in Widipedia as: The Three Hours' Agony or "Tre Ore" is a service held in some Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Lutheran churches on Good Friday from noon till 3 o'clock to commemorate the Passion of Christ. It may include meditation on the seven sayings of Jesus on the cross,[1] or the Stations of the Cross. The Jesuit priest Alphonsus Messia (d. 1732) is said to have devised this devotion in Lima, Peru. It was introduced to Rome around 1788 and spread around the world. In 1815, Pope Pius VII decreed a plenary indulgence to those who practise this devotion on Good Friday.[2]
- There is a song by Nick Drake called Three Hours. See the video on youtube here!
I could certainly use three extra hours per week to play with my grandson or to Skype with my granddaughters.
I could take my husband to the movies once a week and that way, we would both enjoy those three hours.
I could read all those books I have on my IPAD and Nook.
I could exercise our sweet rescue dog, Rocket, more often.
Or, I could spend more time in the evening hours watching our beautiful West Texas sunsets.
I have been using Docusign since they came out. I was the first Realtor in Lubbock, Texas to start using Docusign. So.... I actually have 3 extra hours per week already! There are a plethora of things I could do with that time and I have named a few. And, I'm thankful for the time I spend with family and friends, reading, playing with the dog, and watching the sun go down.
Today? Since this is only my fourth post on Active Rain, I spent my extra 3 hours figuring out how to upload photos and trying to learn how to upload a youtube video to my blog. I will have to take the video part remedial training another day (but you can click on the link and listen to a great song while you read the remainder of the post). In between all this blogging, I left my computer and went to take lunch to my 7 year old grandson at school! See.... you can fit fun in with your blogging and realty work and for that, I'm most thankful. I get to have fun while I work.
