Thankful Thursdays: You talkin’ to me?!

Wanda, I find it so INCREDIBLY rude when people do that!!!  Unless you're expecting a mega important call, and you warn them at the onset of your meeting, that phone should NEVER be in your hand!  Something so simple and stupid can cost you business...

YES! Wanda, we won a listing by ignoring our phone....the Owners said the last agent kept reading his messages and RESPONDING while giving his presentation to them! Absolutely rude!

This is probably one of the most important pieces of advice you can give. When I meet with clients I turn my phone off and put it on the table. I tell them that they've booked this time and I will devote it to them 100%.

That is the best way to let clients know they are valuable and worth your time. Love the pic of you. That color looks great on you. Have a great day.

I'm suggesting Wanda;  I hate it when that happens.  When I'm with a client, my ringer is off.  I used to shut the phone down completely, but with the iphone4, it's my mobile office, so I just shut the ringer down.

Wanda making eye contact, getting rid of distractions, and listening well all show great respect with another.
