How to get fit without working out!

By

Sound too good to be true?  Well, I'm not suggesting that you give up going to the gym or anything, but here's some things you can do if you just don't have enough time to block out an hour or so each day to hit the gym.

  1. First, start of with a really good breakfast, lots of protein, carbs and fruit.
  2. Now when you go to the office or to the grocery store, park in the back of the lot, yes in the way back.  (If able, carry those  groceries, you  have two arms!)
  3. Bring a bag lunch to work. Now I know this might seem weird at first, but just think of how much money you'll be saving, not to mention, I bet you'll be eating a lot less calories too!
Simple changes, nothing too mind blowing I know, but I think healthy life-styles can be created, even for those who don't like going to the gym.

Yeap, since I was born I think?! I remember my mom always parking the mini-van in the back, all the way through college I always packed a lunch, and by 8:00am my stomach is always growling!!!

Great suggestions.  I should definitely park my car further from the entrance but usually I'm in a rush and need to get in and out quickly.  Excuses, Excuses.

Tyghre those are some very simple (and small) changes that could end up making a huge difference. Thanks for the reminder and best of luck.

Here's one you can add to your list:  squeezing your stomach muscles while you are walking is equivalent to crunches!
