Texas Roadhouse – free lunch, Friday, Nov. 11 Numerous Texas Roadhouse locations across the country will participate in this free lunch promotion as a means of honoring everyone in our armed forces. This special is valid for ALL veterans – whether they are: active, retired U.S. military. In order to obtain the free lunch you will need to show your current or expired military ID.
Lowe’s Veterans Discount
Lowe's - November 7-11, 2011: Lowe’s Companies, Inc. will offer all active, reserve, honorably discharged, and retired military personnel and their immediate family members a 10 percent discount on in-store U.S. purchases made during the Veterans Day holiday. In order to qualify, you must present a valid military ID or other proof of service. Lowe's.com purchases are not elligable for this discount. Lowe's offers this discount daily ONLY to active duty military members. However, they DO extend the offer to military veterans on all military holidays.
Free Park Admission for Veterans
Free Day at USA National Parks- November 11-13, 2011 The National Park Service will not be charging entrance fees to any Veterans over the long Veteran’s Day weekend. Any USA Veterans going to the park should bring a military ID or other proof of service to gain free admission.
