Peter von Artens was born in 1937, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began studying art in 1950 at the Miguel Venegas Cifuentes Fine Art Atelier in Santiago de Chile, Chile. He attended the Catholic University of Chile Fine Arts School in 1957.In 1958 he received a scholarship from the Hispanic Institute of Culture to study in the Royal Academy of San Fernando, Madrid, Spain. In that very same year Peter von Artens had his first solo exhibition at the Catholic University of Chile in Santiago de Chile. (courtesy of Wally Findlay Gallery)

Peter Von Artens was a Master Painter & such a genuine "gentle" soul.  He was a wonderful blessing to have had the pleasure to work with & touched our souls with his work.  He lost the battle & fierce fight with Cancer that was discovered suddenly in 2003. He left remembrances in our hearts.  I would like to introduce Peter Von Artens.  Art is a critical component of Staging your home for living, vacationing, or for resale & I am sure that you will fine these amazing pieces will bring you Joy and a sense of awe.

Hi, Pam:  These are so pretty...they're so well done that you forget you're looking at paintings- they look like photos!

Dear Dennis - :)  Yes, that was always the amazement with his work.  Incredible "still life" paintings.  He had a tremendous heart.  When you see someone like him actually paint like a photograph it is one of those stunning moments.  Thank you so much for stopping by!  Sorry for the delay working today.  Have a wonderful weekend & Happy Veteran's Day!!  Thank you again for your service!
