TOUR THE WOODLANDS ~ VILLAGE OF MAY VALLEY
The Woodlands, Texas is a unique community made up of different Villages each unique in their own way. This post is continuing my series of Touring The Woodlands to introduce each Village of The Woodlands. Many people new to our area can get turned around very easily here and confuse how the areas are layed out.
The Village of May Valley is actually tucked into the west end of the Village of Sterling Ridge. The Woodlands purchased an additional section of land and then developed what we now call May Valley. This is one of our newest Villages and boast some great new construction.
The Village of May Valley is in the Magnolia School District as it borders FM 2978. Smith Elementary and Bear Branch Jr. High are just down the road from May Valley. Magnolia ISD has plans to build a new elementary school within the village itself.
New home prices range from the $170,000 - the upper $500,000. The Village currently has a splash pad for the kids, new tennis courts, a lovely park and hike and bike trails throughout. With the great access to FM 2978, those who work in the western area of Tomball, Magnolia or Houston like being in this part of The Woodlands.
