An annual tradition - The Festival of Trees in Downtown Boise

By

Festival Of TreesThe Festival of Trees has become a favorite holiday tradition for residents of the Treasure Valley for more than 25 years and has raised over $7 million to improve healthcare in our community. What began as a modest display of 14 trees in a local warehouse, has grown to become a yuletide extravaganza including breakfast with Santa, live performances, arts and crafts, a raffle, teas, fashion shows, gift shop and of course the magical decorations. Since 1984, during the Thanksgiving week, Boise Centre on the Grove becomes home to a wonderland of holiday splendor featuring hundreds of lavishly decorated Christmas trees and wreaths.  This event really sparks the start of our holiday season here in Meridian, Idaho with folks of all ages marking their calendars so as not to miss this amazing event.

On a very important side note: This Festival employs the time, skills, kindness and financial resources of hundreds of amazing sponsors and volunteers. Their hard work pays off in ways that benefit healthcare in our region. With strong Boise community and Idaho corporate support, the Festival of Trees has raised millions of dollars for our community healthcare system within Boise and the Treasure Valley.
