Our office manager heard on the radio about the shortage of funds and food in the local food pantries and Thanksgiving is on the way. She said she heard $25 is all it takes to provide a Thanksgiving dinner to a local family of 4.
A group of us were in the office and decided to send out an email to all of our agents and see what we could do in collecting $25 checks for the local SHARE.
Seems we have some competitive NH Realtors onboard; there have been a bunch of emails circulating, if we get 100% participation of all agents, one will double hers to $50, then someone else jumped in and said she would double the first double and take it to $100. And there are still emails popping back and forth.
What a nice way to send some help to the local food pantry. Thanks to Michelle for spearheading the campaign!
If you would like to donate to the local SHARE drive, you can drop off your checks, Payable to SHARE OUTREACH, by Thursday 11/17/11. We will drop off the checks to the Milford SHARE office.
You can drop the checks at our Amherst NH real estate office, located at 108 Ponemah Road in Amherst or our Bedford NH real estate office located at 1 Hardy Road, Bedford NH.
If you miss the deadline for the Thanksgiving drive, we will be repeating this for Christmas, the second deadline will be December 15. Better yet, why not do both?
