Video for Real Estate

Services for Real Estate Pros with Hot Shots Digital (HotShotPros.com)

Video for Real Estate in Colorado is really beginning to take effect.  Now that more and more Real Estate professionals are using it, we are seeing a dramatic range of quality in video production.

Of course there are the "Do it yourself" videos, and the professional video productions for real estate.  No matter what the quality of your video is, it can be very beneficial but should be done right.

Although there is alot to know about video production for Real Estate, the number one rule is that your video has to create emotion and feel comfortable to the viewer.  Too often, we see videos out there that are dull documentaries, and have no feeling or call to action.

Before you publish your video... Ask the question:  Does my video create emotion and does it direct the viewer to do something?

I hope this finds you well, and Happy Marketing!

Very well executed with video and still images. I can see the trend also with more and more Realtors using real estate video as part of their marketing tools.

Is the video real full motion with audio that is 40% of the engagement, experience, information transfer? If you are wasting the buyers, sellers time, don't bother. It has to be helpful, worthwhile and not ego centric for the agent, broker, REALTOR. Show and tell using two senses is always better than a few still images, and skimpy sounds like all your other property copy presentations hurriedly thrown together.

Full Motion video is extremely important and audio as well.  It creates an emotion, and you are right on the money.  However, because agents also need still photogs for the mls, print, and other marketing platforms, we include motion stills along with video for many of our works as it saves money and time for the agent.

When this is done right, many of the stills cannot be distinguished from a video clip vs still imaging.  We of course do full motion video as well, but many of our agents prefer the added value of a slideshow virtual tour with video for the MLS, still imaging, and the optimized video that we provide.  This gives them a huge audience, as we are able to cover a broad spectrum of buyers and sellers alike.

I completely agree with you that the experience is important.  We have over 5 years of data from our work that prove that what we're doing works, and are very proud that we've had the opportunity to market for over 250 agents in the Colorado Front Range.
