Speechless Sunday: Impending storm.
How do you plan to prepare?
Just watch the storm from a distance as it comes rolling in then run inside and stay dry. Thanks for the picture.
What a beautiful picture. Luckily there isn't a storm on the way here but when there is I always stock the pantry and put gas in the car prior.
Oh this is easy. Readjust your plans and keep an eye on that light in the sky. Things always get better.
Always make sure you have batteries for your flashlights and radio. Stock the pantry with fun foods to eat in the dark and enjoy the quiet with a loved one.
Make sure you're well stocked with non-perishables, batteries and candles. We just went thru a storm that left us without power for a few days. Knowing where those flashlights, candles and batteries are is key.
Button down the hatches, stay inside, enjoy some time with the family and be safe. Have a great day Wanda!
Great picture of the South West. I love a good thunder storm and we do not get them around here too much.
Looks like the rain is about to pour! You don't get snow like we do right?
Rick, My husband and I love to sit and watch the electrical storms in the distance during the evenings, from a safe distance of course. Thank you for stopping by!
Sara, Both are important! Feed the car and feed yourself.
Liz, We are constantly adapting aren't we? And having a positive outlook helps!
Cindy, You have it down-pat!
Lora, You are so right! There is nothing worse than bumping around in pure darkness!
Cal, Making sure everything that may take flight is a great move! Hope your weekend has been a good one!
Gene, We gets some pretty good rain storms during our wet season especially heavy, roiling clouds and lightening strikes!
Debra, The St. George area gets rain, no snow unless it is a weather pattern fluke. In the last 15 years, it has snowed maybe 3 times and melted right away!
Wanda, by doing what I should have done last November... making sure my snowblower will start
Sometimes I wish we didn't get any snow since we have been just bombarded the last few years!
Debra, I used to love the 4 seasons when I lived up north but am spoiled with the southern Utah weather after living here for 15 years. I hope you get some relief from the snow.
Wanda - really amazing cloud formations........Mother Nature is full of beauty and surprises if we take the time to notice!
