KRMC celebrates formal pact with Mayo Clinic, only the second hospital in the nation to become a member of the newly created Mayo Clinic Care Network. This three year agreement formalizes and expands the relationship and communication that extend the Mayo Clinic’s expertise to health care in Kingman.
KRMC Medical Center was established in 1983 in Kingman Arizona.. Kingman Regional Medical Center has grown to become an example of the great things that can happen when a hospital is owned and operated by the community it serves.
Their facility is a 235-bed non-profit medical center that has grown into a facility capable of providing highly technical and specialized care not normally available to residents living in a rural setting. They have also recently purchased the Hualapia Medical Center.
Receiving the Governor's Arizona Innovation Award, being named one of the nation's top 100 hospitals in community value, and becoming Arizona's first rural teaching hospital are the results of local leaders working to meet the healthcare needs of their community.
