Hi Larry,

Yes, there really is.  When my wife and I moved to Lexington three years ago we were worried that culturally things could be pretty dull here compared to Seattle.  While it is not Seattle we have been surprised with the quality of the arts community.

Paul, any support of the arts is a good thing. I am on a third generation of women artists in my family. Dance, theatre, and I have been a designer of wearable art in a past life (!)--the arts keep us passionate!

Paul,

This sounds like a very interesting hop to go on for fun. Many things o see and so many places to go to. A good dilemma to have.

Thank you for commenting on my market report for Grand Lakes and you are correct this is a really nice place to live and the prices are reasonable.

Gayle, Belinda and Robert,

It is so good to find other people who appreciate the arts.  I was at a piano recital last night that lasted over two hours.  There were 40 participants, children and adults with a smattering of brass and dance performances also.  Made me really smile the whole evening and appreciate the people in Lexington who really give their hearts and souls to the ARTS!
