I am from Sensopia, the developer of MagicPlan.

Thanks a lot Anthony for your post.

MagicPlan is different from Advanced Ruler Pro. Advanced Ruler Pro measures the distance between 2 point. With MagicPlan, you take pictures of the corners of a room and MagicPlan measures the room and draws its foor plan. You can assemble the rooms together to create a complete floor plan of your property. It then generate JPEG images, a PDF report, an interactive floor plan on the web or a DXF file if you want to import your floor plan into a CAD software or SketchUp.

It is available on the Iphone 4, 4S, Ipad 2 (compatibility mode) and iPod Touch. We are working on a full iPad version leveraging the larger screen of the iPad and an Android version, but keep in mind that MagicPlan runs on devices equipped with gyrscopes

At last, MagicPlan has a learning curve, we have a few tutorials, including an interactive tutorial similar to a mini video game as well as videos. For more info: www.sensopia.com
