Thirsty?

Thirsty?  When I first got my Nikon DSL camera, I did some experimenting of close-ups of a lemon slice.  I really liked how it turned out so I decided to revisit the subject.  This time, I sliced a lime and used a variety of backgrounds.  Photography is such a wonderful part of my life and I have incorporated some of my photos in a tour on my website.  I hope you might take a moment to visit and as always, your comments are very much appreciated.

Wow, yes I'm thirsty!!  Terrific close ups!   What's the average price of this camera?

Great photos Emelyn.  I would have to say of the two I to like the top one but both are very good!

Kathy, Christa, Tony and Darcy.....aren't they fun.  Both were shot in the bay window of my living room with available light.  Used my 18-55mm lense.

Amanda, the basic Nikon D3000 runs about $600 and it is wonderful.  It has some limitations like automatic bracketing, but for most photographers, it is just fine.  Additional lenses can be purchased.

I really enjoy your lime work.  It is really a good thing you aren't a bartender, otherwise you'd be too busy shooting the condiments to wait on people!

These are great shots, Emelyn! It is amazing what small things we can capture now with the current technology.
