Here are the Madison Alabama real estate statistics for the month of October as of today November 9, 2007. I am very excited to report that there were 51 homes sold and closed in Madison City during October!!! There are also currently 60 homes under contract and pending sale. There are some parts of the country that are really experiencing sluggish market conditions right now but Madison has kept a steady pace. October homes sales for Madison totalled $12,916,575.
The average number of days on the market for the Madison area is currently 120 days which is higher in comparison to the overall average for Huntsville and Madison County. The average price of sold homes in Madison for October was $253,266 and last month, the average selling price of Madison homes was $241,487. The median sale price for the month of October was $236,400.
