Good Day All,
After two decades in the Real Estate business, I have had the pleasure of working with many different people, companies, and agents.
Now, as our area of the country(CT), goes through another softening in the market, it has dawned on me that I have seen this all before. During the early part of my career, CT saw a major move up in the real estate values. Followed shortly there after by a major (very) settling of the values....recession...Housing prices dropped, many owners lost thier home and those that did not figured out that there was a very large hill to climb to get back to a level of value that would see them wiith a profit...during that time I saw my business go from helping excited buyers into a home and give them the American Dream...to a the opportunity to help excited investors rap a small fortune in purchasing bank foreclosures rehab them ..rent them out....and then sell them as the market returned.
Now, here we are a decade later...we here in CT as well as many other places across this great land, have seen most home gain about 100 % or more in value over the last 6 + years...NOW we have seen the banking business go head over heals as they stumbled and here we go again..I now am back into full foreclosure mode...working with the banks...listing the foreclosures...finding the Investors..selling these...and discussing with these wonderful people..when we should consider discussing the listing of these properties.
I love this business...NEVEr a lack of opportunities to make a living....
