Once again Historic Wake Forest NC will provide a beautiful back drop for this years 6th Annual Gobblers Run 5K Family Event!
The course is open to walkers and joggers and pets and strollers are more than welcome! The Course is mostly flat and loops through both residential and commercial historic districts. There Will be one water stop at the mid-point of the course. The race will begin promptly at 8:00 am!
The race begins at the Boys & Girls Club of Wake Forest at
325 S. Wingate Street
Parking for the event is at the Wake Forest Elementary School which is behindThe Boys & Girls Club of Wake Forest NC.
To register for this awesome Thanksgiving morning 5K you can simply visit Gobblers Run on their website for online registration. You can register on-line ONLY through November 20, 2011. Entry Fees are as follows:
Adults 16 and over: $25.00 for registration before race day
$30.00 for registration day of race
Ages 6 – 15: $15.00 for registration before race day
$20.00 for registration day of race
Ages 5 and Under: FREE
For in person registration and packet pick up you can visit Chiropractic Partner on November 22, 2011 From 5 – 8pm. They are located at 10405-F Ligon Mill Road. You can also register at the Boys & Girls Club of Wake Forest on November 23, 2011 from 5 – 8pm. Day of Race registration will be at the Boys & Girls Club of Wake Forest from7 – 7:45am.
