Is Your CT Condominium FHA Approved?
I know I sound like a broken record when it comes to FHA approvals for condominiums, but as many sellers are finding out, it can be extremely important in helping to sell. Also, if you want to refinance your condominium, it can be critical that the complex is approved.
Complexes in Connecticut have been falling off the approved list all during 2011--the first wave coming in late May, and then again in July. For some reason, the loss this approval came as a complete surprise to some complexes! Finally, as we come to the end of 2011, complexes are beginning to come back on the approved list, so I am going to start a series that gives updates on the status of complexes in Connecticut.
In November alone, the following complexes in Connecticut have been added to the FHA approved list:

East Meadow Condominium in Manchester (November 2, 2011)
Eastwoods Condominiums in East Haven (November 2, 2011)
Forest Ridge in Manchester (November 15, 2011)
Glen Rock Condominium in Norwalk (November 14, 2011)
Judd Square Condominium in Wallingford (November 3, 2011)
Quail Run Village in North Haven (November 17, 2011)
Spinnaker Cove Condominium in Stamford (November 2, 2011)
Summer Ridge Condominium in Plantsville (Southington) (November 17, 2011)
Tandem Trails in Bethel (November 18, 2011)
"The New Section" of Glen Oaks in Newington (November 17, 2011)
Waters Edge Condominium in Suffield (November 1, 2011)
Willow Springs in New Milford (November 1, 2011)
Woodland Glen in Manchester (November 3, 2011)
Woodlands in Windsor Locks (November 3, 2011)
All of the above approvals are good for two years. Congratulations to all of you in these complexes--hopefully you will now be able to sell if you so desire!
