Can't Buy It - It’s Narragansett Pier – This is Narragansett RI Real Estate.

The destination for travelers, home buyers and visitors coming to South County RI always includes Narragansett Pier and sea wall. It is spectacular in its ocean views at the mouth of Narragansett Bay out to the Atlantic Ocean. This is one of ‘the Beaches’ in RI recognized time and time again as true Narragansett real estate. Can’t buy it, can’t have it but you can enjoy it this time of year for free if you like to feel the beach at your soles.

Narragansett Pier is so named because in the late 1800′s Narragansett RI was home to the Narragansett Casino where the wealthy frolicked from Newport way. The pier was the docking point for the yachts that came to the casino. Sadly in the 1880′s the Narragansett Pier had a huge fire that destroyed this casino. The only remains of the casino are the two towering towers that stand over Ocean Road now.

Down the famous Ocean Road is where all the upscale Narragansett real estate was. The big mansions for the elite and wealthy plus the smaller carriage homes or mini mansions to house the wait and housekeeping staff. Now we find so many of these magnificent Narragansett homes for sale. You do not need to be the elite to live on Ocean Road anymore but you do need to have the cash or pre-qualification letter from a lender to buy one! Are you ready yet?!
