Hand crafted itemsArts & Crafts Show Sycamore High School November 19 2011

We're right in the prime time of Arts & Crafts show season.  Pretty much every weekend this time of year a local community or school will be hosting a show.  Tons of homemade items for holiday decorating or gifts.  Some are handmade from scratch, and some folks get a head start with premade items and spiff them up.

Saturday you've got an opportunity to see almost 200 vendors at Sycamore High School (7400 Cornell Rd, Montgomery OH 45242) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

What's it going to cost you?  Well admission is FREE, but after that, you set the budget yourself.  Items obviously vary widely in price.

Now we're a bit biased, but one of our friends (happens a lot with our area home buyers and sellers, start off as clients, but end as friends), is a hardcore crafter!  Patti alters her product according to the season, so of course right now there's a Christmas theme to her work.

Here's a few samples of her work:

Craft

Now if you can't make it to Saturday's show to catch up with Patti, contact her at elegantwhims@gmail.com.  The photos are just a small fraction of her handcrafted items available for sale!

We hope you enjoy the show!  Say hello to Patti for us!

Jane, It's all Patti's work.  The show benefits the Sycamore Band and Orchestra Boosters, so it's certainly for a good cause.  They've got a raffle too :)

Arts and Craft Shows are one of my favorite things.  200 vendors all in one place is awesome.  Hope it's a huge success.

Wow!  Patti has some BEAUTIFUL pieces of work!  Ahh, arts and crafts fairs, where I always end up spending a TON of money!  I love them - always new and fresh gift ideas and I love meeting the actual crafters.

To all, We went to this show after listing a house this morning.  The parking lot was packed!  And inside, well that was packed too.  The auditorium, two gyms and the mezzanine level all crowded with vendors and buyers.  Of course we came away with more than just Patti's crafts!  There are some amazingly creative folks out there, and we did our part to support the economy :)
