Landscaping Progress of 210 Joaquin Street

What a difference three weeks makes!  There has been quite a transformation of my first listing of 210 Joaquin Street in Crescent City, CA.  When I first viewed the property, I did notice a lot of overgrowth.  Now, the front and back yard are both well kempt.  These pictures are of the backyard.

Before the trees and bushes were trimmed, most of the backyard was covered from the sun.   The bushes hid the home from being appreciated, before they were shaped or pulled out.

There was no way to know that most of the property had a fence along the ground, as well as brick.  Even a stone path known as the "Secret Garden" by the children who grew up here.  There was just too much shrubbery.

There was hardly any view of the house from the street before it was opened up.  A tree had been allowed to overgrow at the corner as well as all of the hedges.  The other two trees to the right of this last picture had many branches and covered much of the property from the sky and sunlight.

Remember that curb appeal and accessibility to the entire property are very important to the potential buyer.  However, convincing your sellers to pay for such an upgrade may prove challenging.
