Buyers go in search of homes with a few thoughts in mind; to get the most for their hard earned cash, to make sure it fits their needs and most important, the home's appeal. After an exhaustive search, the buyer settles down to what he feels will be the right choice. Was the home chosen because of the price, NO? Was it chosen because it met his needs completely, No? The home's appeal will win nine out of ten times and why...., because it felt right.
Buyers search first within their price range and this is the first step. When they come to a home that tugs at their heart strings, more than most will try to stretch a little above the price. Because there is such a range of home styles to choose from, buyers need time to match their personalities to their homes. There was a commercial on TV not long ago that showed pets with their owners. It was amazing how each animal had some distinct feature that resembled its owner. It doesn't matter whether the home is median or high end, in every way it will reflect the owners image.
With the passage of time our tastes change or circumstances change that make it necessary to yet again go in search of a home that will reflect our new lifetyle. It may be better earning power that will allow us to upgrade or a change in the family structure that directs us toward downsizing. No matter what the situation may be, we will be searching for that special home, that wonderful place that nurtures us and shields us from the outside world.
