Maine Real Estate Property Owners, It's Not Just About Top Dollar For The Listing.

Picture a Maine farm, waterfront property or Victorian house that you a real estate owner, seller has spent plenty of time, money to make pristine.

maine big lake fish Story book pretty with the picket fence, groomed grounds but it is time to sell the Maine real estate.

The property listing buyer laying down the money, the amount spelled out on the promotional material for the Maine real estate does not have to be the top bidder.

Money, top dollar is not the end all with the Maine real estate seller, owner.

With Maine waterfront property listings especially it is not uncommon to have more than one buyer for the same "musical chair" that is parked next to a lake, river, oceanfront, pond, etc.

So when a multiple offer situation arises with Maine waterfront property, the seller usually takes the route of gathering all the paperwork from the buyers.

Then sitting down at the kitchen table with me and one by one going through them.

Sorting them out, making mental notes, distinguishing each and every Maine real estate buyer who is saying please "pick me pick me".

Asking us the Maine real estate broker who listed the waterfront listing and is one by one generating the purchase and sale agreements for each buyer.

Who they are, what they do, what their plans and dreams are for the property. Keeping it the way it is, modification that maybe the seller had in mind but ran out of time, never got to. But would like to see the next guy pull it off for satisfaction that the old building got what it needed to take it to the next level.

It is not just about the highest price for the Maine waterfront property.

Do they like to fish like the owners, the guys in the boat early morning that show up in the Maine video below?

Is the property going to a good home, someone that will fit in to the tight knit waterfront neighborhood, and is there a connection with others around the lake community?

Because the Maine waterfront property owner, or whatever type of real estate listing it is wants to know the place will be kept up. That they are passing the property listing baton to another person, buyer who reminds them of themselves twenty years ago. When a seller picked them to carry on, maintain, to enjoy the property with the same respect. Who may have owner financed the sale to custom make a financing plan to pull off the purchase.

Like a good steward that will pass the Maine real estate on to the next buyer or keep in their family. Passed on in as good or even better shape, condition to the next person handed the keys to the Maine real estate.

Maine, wake up, start your dream in blue and green, maybe blaze orange.

Caring expertise...knowledge for you!

This kind of emotional decision, behind the price, seems to be a factor in discretionary areas, where the seller has put a lot of "heart" into that recreational choice.

Everyone has difference visions...and it is one of our duties as a realtor...I think...to help buyers see that there are other uses...things that can be changed and added...updated or expanded to "make it their own."
