UNM Has a New Football Head Coach
The University of New Mexico has hired former Notre Dame Football Coach Bob Davie to lead the Lobos for the next 6 years for a contract of $4.5 million. . Davie succeeds former Head Coach Mike Locksley, who was booted out after three sub-par seasons. He comes with a 35 -25 record and many years of experiecne under his belt. As KOB TV reports, "He has spent 20 out of his 31 years of college coaching experience as an assistant at Pittsburgh, Arizona, Tulane, Texas A&M and Norte Dame".
