I grew up in a place with mountains but now I live in Chicago - flat flat flat.  I miss these kinds of sights - you are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!

Belinda,  You see, the mountains are fun, so you always say you would love to be at the ocean, see what you would be missing.

Hi Belinda. I am always amazed at some of the wonders of nature. This is very original, since I have never seen anything like it. BTW, it's okay to spend all that quality time with your Grandkids too.

Belinda it's so fun checking out the amazing rock formations - I used to to that too when I lived there.  One place reminded me of planet of the apes....I could just see them hiding up there!

I never noticed the beauty around me until I became a photoblogger. Mother Nature beautifies the drab terrain with sprigs of color here and there. When you see huge rock formations like your fantastic photos, you wonder how they got there and how long they have been. Like Stonehedge...no man could have placed them there so then we have to ask ourselves who placed them there? Great pictures!

Hi Belinda...There's so much natural beauty surrounding us.  The more we take the time to notice the more we see.  As Kristin wrote, a handy camera is the best thing to have.  You captured a neat example with your stacked rocks and now you're able to share that with us.

I will always love Colorado. I want to come back for a long visit, one day soon. If my entire family would move up there there with me I would come set up shop.
