Deer Hunters help feed the poor, thanks to the Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger.(MSAH). I mention this for you to share with your hunting clients who do enjoy deer hunting season here in Michigan.
Have you ever worked with a client that is looking for hunting land or a home on enough land to go hunting? You may just want to have a little bit of information to pass along to your hunter client. Send them a link to MSAH and remind them that if they really like hunting during deer season they can do so and at the same time help the hungry here in Michigan. They may be moving here from out of State and not know we have such a responsible program here in Michigan.
This organization offers a perfect way for hunters to share a part of their harvest this fall, or donate a whole deer to organizations that know people who are hungry. This is a non-profit group known as MSAH which is a 501(c )(3) non-profit organization.I am glad hunters are seeing a need and using their sport to help those less fortunate by feeding the hungry.
Last season they processed over 32,800 pounds of deer meat into nutritious meals for needy families all across Michigan. I am thankful this Thanksgiving Season for the Deer Hunters who help feed the hungry. You go hunters, venture off into the woods, sit silently in the great out of doors, and take a deer for food for yourself or donate your meat to Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger. There are processing guidelines to be a processor for the organization which is all noted on their website. This was just a little food for thought. Have a Happy Thanksgiving Day.
