La Quinta Restaurants – I found Another Favorite at
The Homestead Restaurant in LA Quinta, CA
During a recent visit to the California desert a good friend treated us to brunch at a La Quinta restaurant she adores – The Homestead in the heart of town.
The Homestead oozes charm, from the beautiful patios and outdoor lounging and dining areas to the multiple rooms in a former “homestead,” bookshelves stocked with collectibles, and, well, the list goes on.
There are wonderful brunch selections, including the classic Eggs Benedict and a Vegetarian Fritatta (as you can see in the photos), and the service was outstanding. We were there for brunch rather early so it was quiet and we had a table by the fireplace in the larger dining room by ourselves.
It felt more like dining at a friend’s home than a restaurant!
The Homestead is working on a new website as of this writing, so stay tuned for details.
You can dine at The Homestead for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would suggest making a reservation for dinner, especially for weekends, as I understand it gets busy.
I’m looking forward to putting The Homestead to the test for lunch and dinner in the future! They certainly passed the test for a good dining experience this past Saturday.
If you have been to The Homestead in La Quinta I’d love to hear your thoughts! I’ve heard rumors about s’mores around the fire pit on the patio!
