A Toast to Spokane! How to deliver a really good holiday toast!
As a former lawyer, I rarely find myself lacking for words. However, the opportunities for expounding on a topic before a captive audience are now diminished and seldom used since I became a loan originator some 20 years ago. Nonetheless, opportunities both big and small (mostly small) pop up now and then.
It doesn't hurt to have a refresher course in toasting, since you never know when you may be asked to "say a few words".

1. Stand up
2. Hold your drink chest-high during the entire toast
3. Wrap it up when your arm gets tired!
Number 3 is my personal favorite.

Spokane has it all - friendly people, beautiful lakes, great entertainment, institutions of higher learning, a good medical center, ethnic diversity and finally a Trader Joe's!
