I was showing property yesterday from someone who is from Vancouver Canada. He was astonished at what a beautiful day it was. It felt "chilly" to me, being 62 degrees - I was bundled up for snow, and he had jeans and a Tommy Bahama shirt on. I actually did get too warm during the day. He told me that people in Vancouver think that San Diego is too cool in the winter, and so many people he knows purchase second homes in the Palm Springs or Arizona desert areas (up to 115 degrees in the summer! And surprisingly, the desert areas can get downright chilly in the winter months.).
He was amazed that this was actually a cold San Diego day, and was pleased that he could play tennis almost every day of the year comfortably, so he is sold on the area as the perfect choice for their second home.
I was perplexed that people would have the perception that San Diego is cold during the winter, it is NOT! I have looked up the averages and have posted below. This chart comes from a website www.sandiego.org., a great resource if you are considering moving to the area.

So keep and save this email if you are considering moving to San Diego. I have lived here since 1968 and have sold Real Estate for over 25 years, so I'm familiar with most of the areas, schools and other things particular to San Diego. Please consider me to be your "favorite Realtor" and your resource for information and referrals in the San Diego area.

Nothing says I love you like a new Home for the Holidays!
