Hi Joanna--wow, what a feast indeed. I have not yet had dinner--but am seriously thinking about it. Amazing. Wish we had something like that here.
Oh that does look really good. And, now I'm very hungry, so I have to get that cup of coffee and breakfast.
Kathy-I'm sure you will have your table will look just a beautiful!
Janet-Actually, this was taken in Nuremburg Germany so we don't have this in New York either. But you must have beautiful dried fruit in Hawaii!
Debbie-I have to be satisfied with a cup of coffee and my green smoothie too! Have a great holiday. Speak next week?
We are abundantly blessed! What a beautiful feast for the eyes and taste buds. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Joanna - Oh my goodness - I'll take one of those, one of those, and, oh yes, one of those! What a wonderful window display.
Lee and Carol-we are all so grateful at this time of year. Enjoy your holiday!
Sally-exactly-my nose was pressed against the window for the longest time, trying to decide which to taste! Enjoy the hoiday.
So I have a package of prunes in the refrigerator...that's as close to this as I can get, LOL! What a display!
Joanna ~ The Europeans are masters of beautiful window displays! The time and detail it took to make something look so pretty is just amazing. Having lived in Europe I remember seeing many windows like this and being in awe of them!
Seeing your creativity Sharon, I bet you could throw those prunes into a basket with clementines, apples and kiwi and make a gorgeous centerpiece.
Maureen-you are so right. The Europeans really look at food as a display item and much more of a design statement. I think that artistic approach takes it from a commodity to a real specialty.
