It's PIE time!

I am lucky enough to have family close by so I don't have to cook on Thanksgiving.  However I am in charge of the pies and I always visit Marie Callender's and pick up our favorites. Looking on line this morning I found out they closed their Arizona locations.

So now what?  Where will everyone buy their pies that always waited in the long line at Marie Callender's?   If you have any suggestions for me as to where to go please tell me!  We have been buying Marie Callender's pies since I can remember.

Good luck and success.

They closed them here in Albuquerque too.  Not sure why the places were always packed.  Odd.  Try Village Inn I heard they have good pies???

Amy- I've always loved Marie Callenders!  How about the super market... I think they frozen Marie Callenders, or see if you can find a local bakery.  Good luck!!!

Amy - wish I could help Sweetie! Do you have a Kings grocery store nearby - they make great bakery products... Hope you find a great place, but don't worry, your family will be happy you and your son are there, the pies aren't that important in the big picture, trust me!

Another thought - Costco makes some delicious pies, but I'm not sure if you have any near you....

Amy, Costco...they have a great pumpkin and apple. Their pecan is also good. Trader Joe's are smaller but good. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Enjoy!

Oh no!!!  I would check out the local grocery but don't hope for much.  I used to be packed to the rafter at my patiserrie during this time of year with all the pies flying out the door.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
