On this wonderful holiday, I justed wanted to take the time to share a picture of my family.

My Family My daughter is only 14 years old, but like so many kids her age looks older. My mother in law is on the right. My husband's name is Dan. He hates the coat and tie situations, but pulls it off pretty well.

I hope you all enjoyed a great and wonderful Thanksgiving.

At least you got a family pic today. We didn't get any! Everyone was to busy eating and talking and let the gathering slip by without a single shot! Imagine that!

Imagine having too much fun to get a family picture. Sounds great. Notice I'm not in this one. That's the way my mother in law prefers it. I'm not a member of the family. After 20 years I've gotten use to it. My family knows otherwise...and that is why we only see her on Thanksgiving.

Debbie, that's sad, I wish it were different. But I've seen a situation just like it, with daughters and their dad's NEW wife. It was bad from the start, and still is 8 years later. Now, the daughters don't even talk to the dad. It's too bad they were INFLUENCED into this behavior by a member of their family. I'm glad you are able to keep your chin up and make the best of it anyways. Happy Thanksgiving to my very nice AR friend to the south. -Cheryl

HI, Cheryl and thanks for stopping by. My family stands beside me when it comes to Dan's mom. That's why we only see her once year, and before this tradition, we didn't see her for five straight years.
